OBJECTIVES

• To get familiar with Cambridge exam/test format: PET and KET.
• To reinforce Primary year 6 students' skills regarding these final Cambridge exams.
• To exchange experiences and feedback through the different activities.
• To learn new techniques in self-assessment.
• To practice the four skills: reading, writing, speaking, listening.
• To learn from other students work adn tasks.

CONTENTS

• General comprehension Reading techniques: scanning, skimming, etc.
• Reading texts: poems, rhymes, summaries, recipes, newspapers+magazine articles, etc.
• Accuracy in Spelling and writing trhough dictation
• Speaking intonation and pronuntiation through phonic games.
• Writing workshops: e-mail, letter, postcard, note, tourist leaflet, giving advice, advertisements, etc.
• listening situations: songs, dialogues, roleplay, short movies, cartoons, comics, etc.

METHODOLOGY

• Open and flexible tasks where students can practice through activities and give feedback to their peers in the wiki.
• There will be some obligatory and voluntary tasks and activities.
• These activities will be divided into PET and KET.
